Visa information... 

for those who come from one of the following countries: Mongolia, Nigeria or if you belong to group "B" but travel to Hungary from outside your home country.

Please see basic instructions on the visa procedure here. In addition, before you apply for your visa, you will need a Police endorsed invitation letter from the Hungarian authorities. It will be issued by the Ministry of Interior based on the form submitted by the CEU Summer University. For this form you need to provide the following personal data:

full name (as in passport)
exact date AND place (city and country) of birth
Permanent address (street address. P.O. BOX addresses are not accepted)
Mother’s maiden name
Exact arrival and departure dates
Address during your stay in Budapest

The letter takes about 3 weeks to issue. Then CEU SUN will mail it out to your mailing address for your visa application.
