Please contact the Hungarian Embassy or Consulate with your visa application as soon as possible. You can find the contact address and telephone of the Embassy on the following site: http://www.mfa.gov.hu/Kulugyminiszterium/EN/Missions_abroad/Embassies_and_Consulates/
Please mind that, depending on the country, the visa procedure may stretch up to 2-3 weeks (in Asia and Africa from 1 month to 2 months), therefore it is advisable to submit the visa applications soon after receiving our notification packages.
In most of the cases the Embassies require the official invitation letter from CEU SUN, a valid flight ticket reservation (do not purchase your ticket without being granted the visa!), and the confirmation of your room reservation. The visa fee can be different, from 10-50 USD.
CEU SUN provides you with the official notification letter, indicating the type of funding you have been granted, on request the reservation confirmation in the CEU Residence Center and information on travel.
Please make sure that your foreign passport will not have expired within 6 months from the date when you enter Hungary.
