International Exchange Programme “Race, Ethnicity and Migration Studies” (REMS)
'Training and Transformation in the Anthropology of Europe'. A long-term cooperation has been planned with the University of Massachusetts to develop a field studies program in the Anthropology of Europe for graduate (masters and doctoral) students.

'Civil Society and Ethnic Conflict'. As part of this collaborative project between CEU and University of Michigan, two graduate students can attend the summer institute at Michigan University to receive methodological training.
Marie Curie Scholarship

Marie Curie SocAnth has been established in order to promote the development of Anthropological research and teaching in the former communist regions of central and eastern Europe. The scholarship provided by the program covers research training and fieldwork for doctoral students from the region. In line with Anthropology’s global reach, the geographical range of their research is unlimited. Anthropology doctorands from Europe or anywhere else in the world, who are carrying out their doctoral research in the target region, may also apply for support. The institutions participating in the Marie Curie exchange program are the following: Central European University, Max Planck Institut, Babes Bolyai University and Goldsmith College.
