Two-year MA program in Sociology and Social Anthropology: Urban and Global Studies. The program has been registered with The State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.
The Two Year MA requires that students take a total of 38 credits in coursework. Of these, 28 come from mandatory courses and 10 from elective courses. In the first year a minimum of 30 credits is to be undertaken. A further 8 credits may be taken in the fall semester of the second year. All coursework must be completed before undertaking research for the thesis in the Winter Semester of the second year.

ELECTIVE COURSES
Students enrolled in the Two-Year MA who wish to specialize in Global and Urban studies are required to take a minimum of 10 credits of elective courses, of which a minimum of 6 credits should be taken from the “core cluster elective courses” list. Students are able to take more than the required 10 credits with the approval of the Head of Department.
