Lea Sgier is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Central European University, Budapest. Previously, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Geneva and Institute of Communication Studies, University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. She obtained her PhD from University of Geneva, Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. Her research interests are Qualitative methodology (discourse analysis and qualitative interviewing), Gender and politics (gender quotas, political representation), and Citizenship, nation and nationalism. .
