> > 2011-2012 CALL FOR PROPOSALS < <
Application deadline: 3rd October, 2011
This CRC project launched in 2005 invites scholars - higher education researchers and teaching faculty - from our target region to investigate social science curricula and curriculum design practices in former communist countries.
The aim of the research fellowship is to provide CRC and its strategic partners with an insight into how undergraduate and graduate degree programs in various disciplines have been developed and implemented across the region. Through these curriculum research fellowships CRC would add an active research role to its already existing endeavor to become a useful resource for existing social sciences curricula from the region, and will be able to critically assess the dynamics of curriculum development in existing social science disciplines.
Research proposals are considered in both practical, immediate curriculum questions or more remote, background issues of historical or theoretical significance that researchers believe to have a long-run effect on the development of curricula in their disciplines. Fur further details please see the Project description
The call for applications will be launched yearly in a number of selected discipline areas and/or with a defined specific focus.
