   Course Title    The Science of Environment

The purpose of this course is to present a unified understanding of environmental issues and concerns. Also, this course will help to see how sustainable development can solve environmental problems.

The course will help students to understand two major areas of information, which deal with this complex topic. First, natural processes (both physical and biological) that operate in world. Second, the role that technology plays in our society and its capacity to alter natural processes as well as solve problems caused by human impact.

The course is designed for students pursuing studies in economics and for those who should like to complete their knowledge acquired in the fields of natural and environmental science with economic aspects or who want to enrich their experience in economics and social sciences with the environmental dimension.
