COURSE DESCRIPTION

Laws are not the perfect emanations of reason. Laws are generated in a legal and political process, under the pressure of influences. The course presents the workings of the legislative branch in certain countries (US, UK, Germany in particular) the impact of the standing order on laws. Part Two of the course is related to drafting and interpretation.
