Vladimir GligorovProject Pursued within the Blue Bird Vladimir Gligorov is Staff Economist at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (WIIW) He is a country expert on Balkan countries, in particular on Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina; Albania; as well as on Russia. His research interests include the problems of long term growth in transition countries and the matters of financial markets. His long-time interests also include political philosophy and theory of liberalism. In the recent years he has published extensively on the problems of Southeast European economies. His publications include Balkan Reconstruction.
