Ozan Erozden is currently assistant professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul. He received his Ph.D. in 1996 at the University of Istanbul, where he has worked between 1989-1999 as a member of the Department of Public Law. His dissertation entitled "Nation State in Europe from the Perspective of Legitimacy of the Political Power" was an attempt to describe theoretical basis of the political structure known as nation-state. He published two books and a dozen of articles, mostly in Turkish. His recent works were focused on tensions occurred between supra-national human rights bodies and sovereign states.
